SAR Imagery for Critical Decision Making

Cherie Muleh

Our ability to assist emergency services and national security decision makers by extracting meaningful and actionable information is critical to defense operations. Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations are 24/7 and these types of operations need an all-weather imaging capability, such as Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data.

In this recent blog post by Esri Australia, Dipak Paudyal discusses how our SAR data capabilities, from change detection, ship tracking, to large area monitoring, can be leveraged for national security applications. Additionally, these capabilities can be deployed in an enterprise, quickly make the results available when they’re needed – regardless of location.

Read about how SAR imagery enhances critical decision making and can deliver on-demand solutions in your environment.
