I am considering purchasing a new system that runs Windows 8 and has a touch screen. Can I use ENVI and IDL on this system and will it work with a touch screen?

ENVI, IDL and Lidar are fully supported on Windows 8 systems. You can see a full list of platform support on our webpage here: http://www.exelisvis.com/Support/Help... However, our products do not take advantage of touch screen technology at this time.
