SENSORS AND SATELLITES

Harris CONUS10 Landsat Imagery

Harris ImageLinks CONUS 10m product was built from processing approximately 434 Landsat 7 scenes (leveraging archive of best available '99-'02, similar season, Landsat 7 scenes). This includes the orthorectification, and co-registration of all scenes as well as the processing to tonally balance, feather blend, mosaic, and custom stretch with edge enhancements.

This 10m true-color ortho-mosaic is available as ~943 individual 1x1 degree overlapping tiles. A CONUS upgrade was made in 2004 that included replacement of multiple sites across the United States that used newer scenes and/or multiple overlapping scenes to remove and replace area with environmental artifacts such as clouds, smoke, and haze.
