SPOT 6 & SPOT 7

from Airbus Defence and Space

SPOT-6, launched in September, 2012, is a high resolution optical Earth observation satellite delivering, 1.5m resolution image products. In 2014, twin satellite SPOT-7 was released in to orbit with the same capabilities. SPOT-6 and SPOT-7 will ensure service continuity begin with the SPOT-4 and SPOT-5 satellites, which have been operating since 1998. With a low price and extremely large catalog, this is a great option for those needing imagery for larger area sizes, especially those doing change detection and environmental analyses.

The images acquired by Airbus Defense and Space SPOT Earth observation satellites are an unparalleled source of information for studying, monitoring, forecasting and managing natural resources and human activities on our planet.
