Set Length Attribute Parameters

Set Length Attribute Parameters

Use Length Attribute Parameters to set the parameters ENVI uses to automatically calculate the length of each extracted feature.

  1. Select one of the following:
    • From the Vector Parameters dialog menu bar, select Options > Length Attribute Parameters.
    • Right-click on the display group and select Length Attribute Parameters.

      The Length Attribute Parameters dialog appears.

  2. Select the measurement units from the Length Units drop-down list. The default is Meters. Other options include Km, Feet, Yards, Miles, and Nautical Miles. If needed, you can add additional unit options to the useradd.txt file in the ENVImenu directory.
  3. Enter the Attribute Field Width to define the width of the evf_length attribute in the output file.
  4. Enter the Decimal Count to specify the number of digits to allow to the right of the decimal in the evf_length attribute in the output file.
